Terms and Conditions:-
A booking confirmation is a contract between the person named on the booking confirmation (hereafter referred to as the hirer) and Hope Harbour Villas. In making full payment for accommodation, the hirer agrees to the terms and conditions as set out by Hope Harbour Villas and Hope Harbour Villas agrees to honour the booking, and all rates and extras as agreed with the hirer.  

Responsibility of Hope Harbour Villas:-
Hope Harbour Villas agrees to provide accommodation as per the booking confirmation. Hope Harbour Villas agrees to ensure that the villa is cleaned and all linen and towels are changed before each stay.
In the event of malfunction of any equipment, or any other problem that may occur, Hope Harbour Villas agrees to take immediate action to remedy the problem. Dennis is always available - Freephone 1800 003 165.
In the event of earthquake, fire, war, terrorism, or acts of God, Hope Harbour Villas accepts no liability.

Payments:-
All accommodation must be paid for in full a minimum of 14 days before arrival at the resort or the booking may be cancelled. Balance to be paid directly into

Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard, there is a 2% surcharge on credit card payments. Credit card payments are processed in NZD at the current exchange rates available from BNZ

Changes and cancellations:-
28 days or more - Full refund or transferable subject to price and availability.

14 days to 28 days - Refundable deposit less admin fee $A50 or 10% of booking, whichever is greater or  transferable subject to price and availability within 12 months of original booking 

14 days or less - Non refundable deposit or transferable subject to price and availability for six months

Arrival and Departure times:-
Arrival times are essential to ensure your villa will be ready for you. Normal check in is 2pm or later. If you do not know your arrival time on booking, please advise the booking agent as soon as possible.
Departures must be before 10am unless by special arrangement or an extra day will be charged.

Responsibilities of the Hirer:-
The Hirer shall ensure that reasonable care is taken during their stay. The hirer shall not interfere with or inconvenience other guests or residents in the complex in any way. The hirer shall not hang out laundry or clothing etc. where it can be seen by other residents or the public. The hirer shall not smoke inside the villa or garage. The hirer shall not interfere with smoke alarms in the villa. The hirer shall not light candles or incense in the villa. The hirer agrees to accept all charges associated with their stay at Hope Harbour Villas.

Termination of Rental:-
Please note that no rental to date has been terminated early by either the hirer or Hope Harbour Villas. However, in the event that the hirer fails to meet terms and conditions set out above, Hope Harbour Villas reserves the right to immediately terminate rental. If assistance is required for eviction, all charges will be passed to the hirer.
